A Catholic Wedding

Mac and I had our official wedding ceremony in the Catholic Church over Memorial Day Weekend.  Looks like Friday the 27th is a new Anniversary for us.  It was very special and Monsignor Carr performed a beautiful ceremony.  It only took 5 years after our beach wedding to make it an official religious ceremony.  I have to say I am so glad that we didn't do this the first go round in front of hundreds of people because I was a blubbering mess.  I cried through the whole ceremony.  Tears of joy of course.

We each chose our mother as our witness for the ceremony.

Afterwards we headed to The Jefferson for brunch with both families.  We had a lot to toast.

I carried Calla Lilies in honor of my grandmother and received a 2nd wedding band in honor of this marriage.

Then we were off to Smith Mountain Lake.  Mac and I sat on the dock for hours and drank our Fav Champagne, Veuve Clicquot-a very thoughtful gift from our dear friend Vitamin Sea.

The Water felt incredible and I didn't want the night to end!  It was a perfect way to celebrate :)
