Ledbury's New Store

We are very excited to attend Ledbury's Launch Party tonight for the opening of their new store on 14th street in Richmond!  Ledbury is an amazing company and we are lucky to have them right in our own backyard!  Tonight we are excited to celebrate all of their success!

Art 180 Benefit

It was wonderful to attend a benefit for Art 180 last week hosted by the Lovely JW.

"ART 180 creates and provides art-related programs for young people living in challenging circumstances, encouraging personal and community change through self-expression. The group is based in Richmond, Virginia and their mission is to give young people the chance to express themselves through art, and to share their stories with others.  The goal is that their work with young people will turn lives and communities around 180 degrees."

We had a lovely evening with wonderful friends and JW's house was decorated so beautifully!

Barboursville

Mac and I had the most wonderful time wine tasting for our 5 year anniversary at the vineyards surrounding Charlottesville.  Barboursville was definitely our favorite stop!

We dined at the barboursville restaurant, Palladio and it was to die for!  Seriously you must go!

You can choose between a 2 course, 3 course or a 4 course meal with wine pairings and of course they start you off with Champagne.  The food was not only amazing, but the presentation was absolutely beautiful.

Vegetable Phyllo.  This was seriously the best meal I have ever eaten.

Red Snapper

We drank the Cabernet Franc Reserve while we waited for the entrees and it was so delicious that we left with five bottles, which did not last through the weekend-Ha Ha!

After dinner we took our wine and went to visit the historic ruins on the grounds.

 

We found a beautiful field where we spent the evening drinking our Franc and relaxing.

I highly recommend Barbourville and Palladio for a romantic get away.  We had a wonderful time celebrating 5 years of laughter and love

The Erin Debuts in Charleston

I was sooooo excited to receive a picture from my Friend, Virginia who wore The Erin to her brothers rehearsal dinner in Charleston this past August.  It looks like it was a lovely event and I miss you all!  The Erin is sooooo perfect for an evening in Charleston.

The Pink Monogram

I was thrilled when I came across this darling site~The Pink Monogram.  They have the most precious goodies for sale and I found so many items that I love I just have to post about them all!

Even though summer is over I still love shopping for fun straw summer bags!  This pink one is too darling and definitely something to consider for next summer!

 

 They have a great selection of Jewelry and I found their bangles to be very fun for all seasons.  The pink monogram also sells KEP Designs!

I think all bedding should be monogrammed and the pink pillow is particularly adorable!

Monogrammed crookies were a fun sale item!

 

And all of their needle point shoes are precious!  These two are definitely going on my wish list!  They have so many other fun items that you must check out their site :)

Shabby Chic

One thing I love about my dear friend Priscilla's house is her Shabby Chic Style.  She's done an amazing job decorating and I love her use of window frames as decor.

She has chalk board in the Kitchen for notes and messages on one side and a picture of her black lab, Henry on the other.

Here she used this window frame for a series of pictures of her adorable daughter, AJH.

On this wall she hangs different pictures for the occasion.

And this post by Vitamin Sea was actually inspired by a jewelry frame Priscilla has in her house.  She just didn't know I got the idea from Cil.

Pricila's Shabby Chic Style is inspirational and makes for fun do it yourself projects!

The Amanda Debuts At a Southern Wedding

I was so thrilled to get an email from a darling friend who ordered the Amanda and wore it to a wedding in Savannah last weekend.  She emailed me and said.........

I just love when I hear from people who enjoy my designs!  It truly brings a smile to my face :)

Girls Night Out

Last weekend Mac went down to Athens to go to the UGA Football Game so that gave me the opportunity to have a wonderful Girls Night Out!

Maymont Hosted a wine tasting and we had a lovely evening trying wines from all of the different vineyards!

By Far the BEST Vineyard Was Horton!  I am totally sold on their Pear and Blackberry Wine.  If you've never had their wine it is not something to miss!  We made friends with Barry and are already planning a trip to Gordonsville!

After our tastings we enjoyed a tour of the mansion.  Of course I was drawn to the tour guides in Costume.

This was my favorite bedroom!  What a bed!

Thanks ladies for a wonderful evening. I am already looking forward to our vineyard tour.  It looks like they have some fun events coming up!
