Back on the Market

4505 Hanover is back on the Market.  I loved this dear house, but we just needed more space.  We currently have renters.  If you know of anybody who is interested in a house near the Malvern Area of Richmond please pass this along.  It is listed by Graham Johnson at Coldwell Banker.

We have soooo many great memories here and it will always be a very special place to us!

A Catholic Wedding

Mac and I had our official wedding ceremony in the Catholic Church over Memorial Day Weekend.  Looks like Friday the 27th is a new Anniversary for us.  It was very special and Monsignor Carr performed a beautiful ceremony.  It only took 5 years after our beach wedding to make it an official religious ceremony.  I have to say I am so glad that we didn't do this the first go round in front of hundreds of people because I was a blubbering mess.  I cried through the whole ceremony.  Tears of joy of course.

We each chose our mother as our witness for the ceremony.

Afterwards we headed to The Jefferson for brunch with both families.  We had a lot to toast.

I carried Calla Lilies in honor of my grandmother and received a 2nd wedding band in honor of this marriage.

Then we were off to Smith Mountain Lake.  Mac and I sat on the dock for hours and drank our Fav Champagne, Veuve Clicquot-a very thoughtful gift from our dear friend Vitamin Sea.

The Water felt incredible and I didn't want the night to end!  It was a perfect way to celebrate :)

Happy 30th Birthday Mac

Today Mac turned 30!  So to celebrate Anne Taylor and I hosted a joint Birthday for Mac and Z's 30th on Sat!  Z's birthday was last Sunday!

We have such Amazing friends who traveled from Nebraska, New Orleans, and NYC to celebrate with us!  We even had a surprise guest-Newts and his wife and I was sooooo shocked that they came all the way from NOLA to surprise us that I started crying when they walked in! The BOYS had a wonderful a reunion!  Very special!

The Main Event was obviously Pool Volley Ball for those of you who know these boys that is no surprise!  It's literally their favorite activity in the entire world.

 The Winning Team!

Lucile was re-named Barbara Bush and it was sooooo fitting!  She does have a way about her that screams Barbara.

My dear Friend Wan-Lae came from NYC and it was so great to catch up!  These pictures say it all!

The God Fearing Snake Handlers performed (Yes the name is soooo random) however they were Amazing and I totally recommend them!! DW made his debut on the mike and sang while playing the mandolin in honor of Mac and Z.

We danced the night away and had a wonderful time!

                         Happy Birthday Mac and Z!!!!

The Perfect Shirt!

So my friend MM and I have been chatting and it's been so hard to fit a cute shirt for this summer.  There are certainly cute shirts out there, but finding one in the color you need has been impossible for both of us!  This weekend is Mac's 30th Birthday-Big Deal! So I felt like I needed a cute shirt to wear with a white skirt!   AND TA DA!!!! I turned the Fair into a shirt.  Ruffle all the way around, and bow belt, it's only shortened.

Please excuse the picture.  I had just gotten out of the shower and was so excited I took the pic with no make-up and wet hair!

So my approach with this shirt is going to be different than my dresses!  If you're looking for the perfect shirt and can't find the right color------Email me the color combo you need and it can be made for you!  It can even be two toned!  What a great way for people to find the perfect shirt in the color they need! Oh yeah and the shirt will retail for 150.00  Who knew it cost almost as much to make a shirt as a dress-Crazy!

Summer Cocktail Party

For those who Live in NYC or will be traveling there next week, this looks like a ball!  The dress and
earrings are to die for!  I can't wait to check out the latest summer designs on line.

Richmond Boutique

Tonight I had so much fun going to dinner with Lyndsay Downey  and Elizabeth Downey the owners of Bella Bridesmaids.  They have the Cutest Store on Grove Ave and I loved getting the tour!  Precious!

They carry some of my favorite designers-  Thread, LulaKate, Carol Hannah, Simple Silhouettes, Coren Moore, Jenny Yoo, 57 Grand, Two Birds, Swoon, Jack Rogers, etc and have a great selection.

If you're getting married, going to an event or just looking for a fabulous dress, you must pop inside.

They also have a wonderful selection of Jewelry including Kendra Scott and M. Flynn.

I have my eye on a pair of Kendra Scott Earrings that I can't live without.

We are hoping to co-host a trunk show this summer so stay tuned!  Thank you Ladies for a wonderful evening.  It was fun and I love the store :)
